This allows you to determine the ideal fleet size based on digital information, as it makes clear how the tool fleet is being used. The Smart Connector collects the required data and transfers it to a tool. All recorded tool data is available for viewing and evaluation in the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal.

CONSTANT POWER:
When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn't the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.

IPX4 CERTIFIED:
SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The AP 200 S is IPX4 certified thanks to the encapsulated electronics and sealing of each individual cell. It means that the battery is protected against splashwater from all sides and can be used in rainy conditions.

POWER BOOST:
MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.

RECUPERATION:
ENERGY RECOVERY. The energy recovered during braking, when the throttle is released, is fed back into the battery and so extends its battery life. This does not affect the service life of the battery.
