The STIHL HL 91 KC-E petrol long-reach hedge trimmer is well-suited to garden and landscape maintenance professionals and demanding domestic users alike, enabling them to cut hedges efficiently even in difficult areas. The short shaft makes the HL 91 KC-E long-reach hedge trimmer particularly manoeuvrable.

The HL 91 KC-E long-reach hedge trimmer from STIHL is powered by a STIHL 2-MIX engine. The STIHL ErgoStart feature makes it easier to start the engine by starting it slowly and evenly with reduced effort. In addition, the manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required for start-up, thereby accelerating the starting process.

The weight-reduced transmission, which is magnesium die-cast, enables comfortable handling with high cutting performance for precise shaping and decorative cuts. The cutter bar, which can be swivelled by a total of 130°, allows you to work comfortably in different cutting directions. Thanks to the quick-adjust system, you can adjust the cutter bar gradually in two directions. It can be folded parallel to the shaft for transport. The double-sided cutting blades deliver high and precise cutting performance, even on thicker branches. All control elements are integrated into the multi-function handle of the STIHL HL 91 KC-E long-reach hedge trimmer. The loop handle supports the secure hold of the STIHL HL 91 KC-E, even when working in confined spaces.

STIHL 2-MIX ENGINE:
HIGHLY POWER-EFFICIENT. With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels. Use a mixture of petrol and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.

MANUAL FUEL PUMP:
FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.

DOUBLE-SIDED CUTTING BLADE:
FOR OPTIMAL HEDGE CUTTING. The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge, as well as thicker branches.

LOOP HANDLE:
MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IN NARROW SPACES. The loop handle makes work in narrow spacers easier, such as clearing between bushes, shrubs or park benches. The practical handle position allows you to move your tool freely and to guide it easily and precisely, even in confined spaces.

STIHL ERGOSTART:
EFFORTLESS STARTING. STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.
