STIHL guards for metal tools reliably protect against cuttings and stones that can become detached and projected during mowing, trimming work under hedges or in solid shrubs. When gardening with sharp cutting tools, appropriate protective equipment is also mandatory for your own safety. If you have any questions about personal protective equipment, please contact your local STIHL dealer.
Before starting work with a metal cutting tool, simply attach the guard for metal tools to your STIHL brushcutter or clearing saw. These STIHL guards are not suitable for use with metal tools when using circular saw blades. Please use the STIHL guard for circular saw blades for this purpose.
The following STIHL brushcutters and clearing saws are compatible with this guard:
- STIHL FS 261
- STIHL FS 361
- STIHL FS 411
- STIHL FS 461
- STIHL FS 491
You can also use this guard with the STIHL FS 560 clearing saw (discontinued).
